Cookoff / Bakeoff for a Cause

Our FREE annual chili cookoff and cupcake bakeoff is back on Friday, 1/21/22! And once again it’s centered around an important “cause.”
This year our focus will be cystic fibrosis. This disease affects 35,000 people in the United States a year, including one of our preschoolers. Although there is no entrance fee or admission charge to the event, you will be able donate to the cause of finding a cure for this dangerous disease both in person and online.
THE DETAILS FOR CHEFS/BAKERS:
If you would like to enter a chili or cupcake creation, please text Marjie at 918-629-8585 to reserve your spot. Only the first 15 entries in each category will be accepted!
Bring your chili around 5pm to Living Word in a container that will keep it warm.
Bring your cupcakes around 5pm to Living Word in a container that will keep them fresh.
Chili will be self-served in small sample cups and cupcakes will be cut in quarters.
You will be assigned a number and anyone can vote for your number as their favorite.
The top three vote getters in each category win prizes!
THE DETAILS FOR ATTENDEES:
Show up at 5:30pm or later and stay until 7pm if you’d like.
Sample any or all of the chilis and cupcakes.
You’ll be handed a ballot to vote for your favorite three in each category.
The top three vote getters in each category will be tallied at the end of the night and receive prizes.
